11 CCBP Members joined Cape Cod’s Housing Assistance Corporation this Saturday 22 September, to do some intensive yardwork at a veteran’s widow’s home. He had passed some 20 years ago, and it seemed that the property hadn’t had any cleanup done since then. A beautiful house right on a small pond, the trees all around were taller than the gutters and obscured all the views of the water. HAC is a local charity helping those in need to maintain their properties and maintain their lifestyle even when their health and their situation makes it difficult. Chris MacNamara generously provided the equipment including two large trucks which shuttled back and forth to the dump all day. When we were done the homeowner was so overcome, she couldn’t believe the difference.
